Il 25 novembre 2017 in occasione del 33esimo anno dall’uscita di “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” i “Tribute Band Aid” sono entrati in studio per registrare la canzone scritta da Bob Geldof e Midge Ure nel lontano 25 novembre 1984
Un progetto nato da una idea di Giorgio Guarnieri e Tania Zaccaria con la partecipazione di tanti amici musicisti e grandi professionisti come Gerry Duni, Sergio Colantoni, Stefano Del Bosco, Andrea Tonnicchi, Alex Giordani, Alberto Santamaria, Francesco Caprara, Stefano Opice, Antonella Cilenti e Claudia Travaglioni
Un ringraziamento speciale va anche a Simone Fazio per la realizzazione del video e ad Adriano Vagnoni per la splendida grafica del Cd che abbiamo consegnato personalmente a Bob Geldof. Il progetto è nato a favore del reparto oncologico pediatrico dell’ospedale Gemelli di Roma
